Generally speaking stairlifts do not require a high level of maintenance as they possess excellent levels of reliability and as such will run perfectly well for many years. Inevitably, though, over time some of the moving parts will show signs of unavoidable wear and tear and will need some repair work to ensure they continue to perform at the optimum conditions.
Different Levels of Maintenance
The range of models we install require different levels of maintenance, according to their design. Normal stairlift repair includes cleaning, lubrication of moving parts, inspection of safety devices – all to ensure the stairlift is fit for continued use.
Prior to installation, we will advise you on the maintenance needs of the model you have chosen. In the case of rentals, maintenance is included in the rental charge so we will simply give advance notice of when we need to call.

Service contracts are available for most makes of machine whether installed by us or by others.
